| VIP Resource: "The Math Solution" offers free drop-in tutoring to all GCC math students at the North end of the new Math building (MA). This is a super resource which includes faculty and student tutors, who are there to help you as you work on your homework. Use it! They are open from 8 am to 8:30 pm on MTWR, 8 am to 4 pm on Friday, and 10am to 2pm on Saturday. I will be there Tuesday 2-3pm. |
| Withdrawal/Attendance: Attendance is critical to success in this class. If a student misses 3 classes, the student may be withdrawn from the course by the instructor. Please contact me if you are going to miss a few classes. If you work with me, I'll try to work with you. It is the responsibility of the student to make sure that they have been withdrawn from the class. If you miss a class, please read over the next couple of sections in the book and try to do some of the homework problems. In addition, get notes from a fellow student and/or get some help in the Math Solution. In most cases in a math class, if you do not understand one section, then it is very likely you will not understand the next section, thus you could have trouble with many subsequent sections. It is extremely important that you attend class and keep up with the homework. If you have trouble with some material, get help as soon as you can. |
